nah.....with such a light and relatively short spring, there is virtually no weight saving and a lot of extra cost. i wanted to keep my net cost for the chubie as close to what it would cost to PUSH my DHX (after selling the DHX) had I gone that route as possible. Besides, that extra money for the Ti spring is better spent on my next project.

while there is virtually zero margin for dealers, i can get you a bit of a discount...not a ton, but something nonetheless.

could you perhaps give me the diameter of the spring used? i'm trying to find a good coil shock to run on my reign and don't want to have to settle with a vanilla r

do you mean inside diameter? if so, it uses a 1.5 ID. Basically, Romic spring work too....but not Fox.

naw, i'm looking for OD dimensions to see if it will fit within the shock cage on my frame. the montie runs a 2.5" O.D. spring so i'm guessing its probly the same spec spring on the chubie
