Question Mountain Biking Adventures

Does anyone have any recomendations or experiences with an organized MTB vacation. I'm thinking like a 3-5 day guided trip in NM, CO, or UT.
Thanks,
Peter

I went in the summer of 2005 to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon with Cycling Vacations - Western Spirit Bike Trips and had a blast. We had great food and the riding was great. I went with a couple of friends and they have used this company 3 times and nothing but positive things to say.

Man, that looks like a group that has got it together. I might do a trip with them.

Another good outfit is Magpie Adventures. Here are some trip reports:

that was an awesome write up of the Grand Canyon!! I hope I make it up there soon as I live in that state.

I have done Rainbow Rim, solo, it is remote but not remote enough to warrant support. It is a must do not just for the views but for the forest...very special feelings out there. Go during the monsoon season June-Sept. that way the grasses will be green and wildflowers will be out.

You can camp anywhere on that part of the Kabab Mesa so you can camp right at the trailheads. 32 miles of good dirt road off the pavement, just remember Kabab is a dry Mesa so bring all your water, also no water means no bears.

Save your money on support and get a cabin at The Grand Hotel North Rim, truley a outstanding place to stay.
