Thanks D Stepper!
It goes into production this week, should be about a month. I'll make sure to get some pix up once it arrives!

On a side note D stepper I finally hit Aliso Woods yesterday, what a blast!!! It's my new favorite spot!
When you go again post it up so I can tag along.

Rose Bowl tickets!

Boooooyaaaa! I've never been to a bowl game before, so this is pretty exciting! We're in the student section, so it should be fun. (As long as the Trojans win.)

My wife bought me a USC cycling team jersey, too. My dad got me Guitar Hero II. (I also bought two new bikes this year, sooo...)

What a great Christmas. I gotta go rock "Shout at the Devil," now.
Now that's a gift.
New Year's is the one day this year I will be rooting for the Trojans. Kill them Wolverines!
Just so you don't think I'm going soft on you Gurp - 570 was just re-broadcasting the UCLA/USC game - It was as great as the first time!

Default New Fox Float R

I got a new Fox FLoat R for my Reign. It didn't have ProPedal, so I sent it off to Fox for the upgrade and got it back on the 20th. I also got an '07 XT rear der. for my Enduro, a few days early. It's already been on 5-6 rides.

I was never very fond of the Swinger 3 Way--at least in this application. It always felt too plush on an already plush system--no matter how much I experimented with air pressures. I have 2+ years on my Enduro's Fox Float and I love its ease of set-up, so I figured it would work good on the Reign--especially after hearing others rave about the RP23 on the newer Reigns. So I swapped it out for a Fox Float R. I couldn't afford an RP23, but I got a great deal on the new Float. I haven't taken it out on dirt yet (that's tomorrow) but from riding it around on the street and up and down curbs, it already feels better. Stiffer but still very plush. It doesn't seem to wallow in its own suspension anymore.

6 in all. A '93 Trek 820 rigid (that will never see dirt), a Trek 4500 HT, a Jamis Dakar (soon to have the parts swapped over to a Kona Kikapu frame), a Spec Enduro, a Giant Reign and a Haro X7--the one I rode at Noble that time. I used to have a Giant Iguana and an Intense Tracer, but I sold those this summer. I'd like to get a SS 29er as well. Something along the lines of what Shannon picked up.

None of them are stock--I built the Jamis and the Reign. The Trek HT, the Haro and the Enduro have been majorly upgraded. I shudder to think at the total dollar amount I have sunk into it all.

I'm a "Doug" too. I wanted PacMan over on MTBR but the other Doug/Trekker already had it. Yes, it is a bit of a coincidence.
