Cool job on thinking outside the box, Shecky. But I'd like to keep the 'core' STR colors intact to keep consistent with everything else.

Hot Shoppe doesn't have anything written about how they handle gradients and # of colors to charge so I emailed them about it. Will report my findings when I get them. If they allow it and it doesn't shoot up the price I'll post up my gradient attempt that I was withholding.

time for me to step it up.

not quite sure what the tribal bands have to do with STR on jareds designs....or the red "socaltrailriders.org" on the lower back. the old english font isnt doing it for me either...

sheckski's logo placement is nice, but like gouge said, the blue gradient is far off the STR brand/identity. before anyone tries to flame me, i know he was just doing something different.

im not trying to sound like a d!ck, just tossing out some constructive crit.

i'll have some more designs up tonight.

No offense taken, I figured I'd get some flak for going against the color. I just wasn't feelin' 'brown' last night. I'll have some other designs to show soon.
IMO, I'm not really liking the tan color. Not the designs, just the color.
I realize that it is a natural partner for the site brown, and it works well for the hot Cali sun.
However, for us OCers, there are the Warriors with two different versions of tan jerseys, and the SHARE El Moro trail patrol who also ride a tan/brown combo.
I'd like to see something that reflects the site, but stands out from the other group jerseys that are out there.

well, its no coincidence that SHARE and the Warriors have brown/tan, earthtones, same with STR. if we were a community of ocean minded folks, i'm sure our color scheme would play off of blue. anyhow, i'm gonna keep working the earth tone pallete.

Design Entry Cut-Off date!!!

Deadline for submitting your design will be tonight at 11pm. I will select between 5-10 designs with at least one design from every person that submitted. From those designs I'll make a poll that will be nice and ready Wednesday morning. We'll let the poll go until we have a good number of votes (hopefully end of Thursday).

Once a final design is reached, we'll submit the artwork and figure out how to do the pre-ordering.

Sorry if that sounds rushed but that's because it is! It'd be nice to have them by VQ/CC time so we gotta haul ass on this.
