I guess there's a slight resemblance....did not think about that. A lot more black in this look though, black side panels, sleeves collar. I like the fade look though.

I like them all. Tough choice! What are some of the colors? Is that white and brown or white and tan George and Brent? I'd avoid white if that's in your plans b/c I ride in white sometimes and it gets dirty easily and shows stains when I slobber on it. Esp. shows dirt on it in long rides like VQ/CC. I like the riders on the lower back of Brent's...tight!

I definately think the STR logo should be featured on the sleeve area, afterall we are trying to display the STR name and that is one of the easiest places for others to see it. I really like the "socaltrailriders.org" on the back/bottom, no point in putting stuff where your camelback is gonna block it anyway.

I like Brett's first design, too. Very nice. Looks pro and stuff.

I dunno how much I'd, personally, like the motivational speech. I hear it often enough without having to read it, too.

For me, I think the brown and tan colors of the website are good, too. That sorta sepia look. Chocolate color. Yeah. I don't mind the roadie look (as long as I keep losing weight, anyway!), per se, but I would dig a moto style, 3/4 length sleeve. I enjoy the Fox Base jersey and think that cut would be nice, too.

i think a 3/4 cut is wut we should go with. either way. i liked the contrast in colors and just a FEW logos with out having to have large areas of font where u get heat patches.

i see people are hating on my design since i didnt do it all fancy on the computer. dayumn

I agree that Brets 1st design is good (Love the riders logo on the lower rear panel). So is JamR's black & Tan design.

Phat Tire has it right: White shows blood and dirt too easily. Darker colors=Less money spent on stain remover. I do concede that we do live in the desert and dark colors attract heat but I'll take the dark colors anyway.

I digging G's (post #24...i think). especially trailer on tail only thing i would note is probably doesn't need STR and Socaltrailriders up both sides of shirt/sleeve. starting to look a bit busy? maybe both have brown boarder but lettering only on one side??.

also not sure how "related" it is to other past designs used but think could be way cool to differentiate by throwing in some other design in boarder that has a socal "connotation" think Pahika was going for hawaiin/polonesian (sp?)..that or some simple wave graphic down "non-str" boarder of shirt could be cool.

anyway just one idiots opinon.

This was my first time using Illustrator; MAN that thing isn't user friendly. If any of you know how to bring in a picture and make the White background transparent or whatever you need to do in this thing let me know.

I heard some talk about Tribals and lighter colors. let me know what you think
