Ouch, you guys are making my legs hurt just thinking about all that SS, and a RIGID, too?

Congrat Shannon! And, happy trails to you

What gear are you running?

Cleveland National Forest, Santa Ana Mountains. Something like 17 miles 2200 ft climb. Start and finish Cooks Corner.

HA! Quite the opposite. I've never bought a bike b/c of it's color and I almost didn't get this one b/c it was purple. My other bikes are gray, very low key... that's how I like 'em.

Thanks... I was surprised how much I liked it. I have a 31/ 20. It's wussy I know, but we can't all be like Jose.

Not wussy for big wheels, are you riding that for the CC?

If there is a SS ride in the works, please do it on a Sunday so I can join.
I've done the Whiting/SST/Old Camp/Luge/Whiting and it is a long one ala 1 gearo but why not.
Congrats on the SS, I ordered my new one today, cannot wait!!

Sundays are good, will set something up when I get back from Arizona.

You all remember Mt. Zion Trail Work Days, first Sunday of the month. Very little work left....will mostly be a ride day and hopefully BBQ at the pack station afterwards. Excellent Trail.

Post the proposed ride date as early as possible. I'd like to join the ride if I'm in town.

Great... Thanks do Dean, after only one day of owning my bike I went back to The Path and dropped another handful of cash (or should I say plastic) on new White Bros. cranks, Boone chainring and King headset. I feel as thought I'm turning into Fo. I just hope the few extra ounces I saved helps get me up the hill.

I think I'll go on this ride too. But, with my geared bike. I promise not to giggle as I ride. But, I like to hang out with SSers. Makes me feel good.

Be careful B.O.B, that is how it starts....Whoever said SSing is cheap is crazy !
Every SS I've ever had starts as a frame and I try to keep it cheap but then you change this and that and bam!!!
Oh well, no one ever said cycling was cheap!
