Got a good--but cold and nipply with a high of 53--ride in with the local boyz yesterday. I was even sportin' the fine STR threads for the post-ride brews. While it was a good time, I missed my SoCal Bros and the incredible rides we could have gone on. Looks like I missed a solid run up HJ to Trabuco....one of my faves, that's fo'sho!

You all would appreciate that my wife hid 30 different high quality beers around the house for me to find...I'll be sure to toast you all whilst I imbibe!

I hope you all are doing well and I promise I'll send some pics of the local ST one of these days. Lots of trees to avoid 'round here.....

So yeah, I was telling gonz that I had a grand birthday wish/plan to get a flight out to John Wayne, rent a sweet Santa Cruz (yah Dino!) full-susser, gather the bros, and hit the mountains!

Buuuuuuuuuuuuut, needless to say that didn't happen.......oh well, among the comp time, sick leave, and holiday time (gotta love working for the government!) I'll build up some free time before too long! I just hope you guys have a strong enough tow-rope to drag my out-of-shape azz up-hilll!

Anywho, the dude abides and it's almost bed-time for Old-Man Fontaine....

Sh!t man, I was just checking out the "most users online" stat and noticed that it was up to 94! I remember when we had something like 32 users and 8 of them were probably Dino and Rob and their various "identities" like Sir Blazen Hazen...wait, did I let the cat out of the bag?????

Well luckily I'm not hungover this morning....
Oh well, as I like to say, you gotta do it every once and awhile to know why you only do it every once and awhile....Or perhaps more eloquently: everything in moderation, including moderation.

But better to drink and post online than drink and drive, right?

Anywho, the list of brews is almost too long to list and too complex for my aging brain to recall but there were some goodies in there from across the globe and the country.

Not sure if you guys have tried beers from the Ommegang house (Brewery Ommegang. Belgian brewing in America.) but they are killer. Quite a few from there were represented.
