Haha, I also did the 2X4 painted black w/ fork mounts. It worked but I wanted something to hold my wheels, so I got the Saris Triple Track. Depending on your car, they make a few different widths.

Has about 104,000 miles on it and going strong. I have not taken it offroad with the new coils and shocks but I am desperate too. Anyone care to join?

Got it. As a reformed motorhead I should have figured that out (makes more sense in this application anyway).

Now, he just needs a nitrous kit to stuff that last bit of fuel and air in there..........

tk, is the motor/tranny stock? Or did you have to beef things up to handle the extra power? Pics???

the car was built to be different from all the other setups, it is a sema car anyways. current engine and tranny are stock, once the new clutch is installed we should be retuning the car for more boost.

I really need to get a trunk rack... there is no room in this car for much other than driver/passenger.
