Pretty sure Mario (Mp3) can turn a fully lap in around 30 minutes. So, I dont see many breaking that record! I think my best ever was like 48 min.

Dont know the EXACT time but i can typically do it in about 1:15 (not in race mode). Maybe i should try to push it next time.... and then start a "Yet another Fullerton Loop Crash" thread when i'm done...

BTW, are we refering to the route that is on geoladders? The loop can have extra and short cuts.

How many cars do I need to play frogger with or how many other bicyclist/hikers do I need to knock over to put up a sub 60min?

Are we supposed to post actual GPS times? Or the time we usually tell other people to make ourselves feel better?

I don't know... The steet crossing is about a 30 second break... I worry that if I catch a day that I don't encounter cars I would have a slower
total time because of fatigue... Just a thought

If you just ride a good average speed and don't stop, you can break an hour easily.

Noob tip: Try to stay in your middle ring through the parks (long, steady climbs), and attack the short ones. They're not that bad. Stop only long enough to get a drink and catch your breath. You don't want to rest so long that you are "cooling down".

Well, just remember, when you crash from trying to slip by someone and you knock them down. Getting up and hoping on your bike without checking to see if they're okay saves you at least 30sec too.

This happened recently. Uber lame. If you need to do some interval work, or time trial stuff. Do it when it's less crowded, or a more desolate trail. If you're fast you're fast. If you need be an a-hole and scrub a few seconds by passing dangerously. You're not that fast. You're just an a-hole.

On a good day? I usually have to stop and grab a burger about half way through, then after that i grab a bus ride to the top of the last climb before the lake park.

So a good training ride is about 3hrs it all depends on if i ride with my bro's steven and william, they tend to slow me up a bit, then its like 3.5 hrs anyone that says they can break 2.5 hrs is full of it.

I am afraid to go fast on the fully loop, I am just happy to finish in one peice. That place is gnarly.

1hr 5min is the fastest and one of the only times I've timed myself. no stops with extra credit, including last hill by dam/above golf range.
someone said 30 minutes.. that's sweet - smokin fast, my hats off to anyone in that league.

1:20 was my best time back to the car. I thought I was pushing it. Plenty of stops and a pee break.

Yup!

I'm still recovering from my fully crash.....after 3 weeks! And at least another couple of weeks before I can get back on the bike.

Riders beware, fully is super gnarl! Slow down!

Right before I raced the Traverse, my best time was 43:11, now that I've been taking it easy and not in training mode, I can't seem to break 45 min.

46 with all extra credit... ect....
on the regular loop...

does anyone do the long loop...???
it goes all the way to statecollage
And back...makes it a 18.5 full loop....
same as reg but turn left in the dam area and go east..
up to brea blvd and cross and then turn left to on brea blvd fallow the trail to the right and to the top and circle to the right and keep going up then follow it
threw the houses and down the hill to the right and it will bring you back to the cross at brea blvd...

adds 6 mile and another 800 ft.
that was the loop at first ....as i knew it...

GIVE IT A TRY....

I prefer the St college summit and dropping back on skyline for a warm up, but that's technically a road ride.
