Default New helmet cam/handlebar cam

The price seems pretty good, and seems like it would work well with mountain biking. I sure know it would have been cool catching my endo on Chiqutia this weekend. Nice price too. Expandable with SD memory cards up to two Gigabytes.

I got the ATC-1000 Action Helmet Camera as a gift a few years back.(looks like lower end model) It works okay. pic resolution is not great. Best part is camera and lens all in one. Place in camelback and throw on handlebars if you come across anything fun to vid. Editing software that comes with is total cr@p. mostly for kids. The following link is example of way old vid i shot with the model i have including "stupid" graphics they include that you can add. anticipate the model you reference may be better

Default Dude this one has to be better!

Its a 2000 model, it must be twice as good as the older 1000 model!

That's about what I would expect at 30 frames/per second. When your as good as I am, you just hold the cam in one hand as you bomb your favorite run ( right hand so you can grab alot of front brake ).

Yep - Peters on back end of second climb on loop. Decent short climb up that section of trail as well.

Hope you're not saying I ride like a cartoon

Anybody have experience with a helmet cam they are happy with? Even if not integrated into a recording system, but plug-in to your camcorder? Am heading to Whistler next season and definitely want to have one by then to record my tomfoolery.

I have an older viosport, and am not that crazy about it. It has to really be tinkered with a lot, and I can still only get it to work half the time. Most of the problems are probably that I am not very techno-savvy, thus, I get frustrated easily. I will say that the picture is great.

aside from camera above, I've been using the Samsung sport of late (not integrated unit). works well enough but I am sure there are better. Been running lens on hbar not helmet

example of vid i've posted before (although highly compressed for upload so not sure great example of Q)
