Default Foes DHS or Jamis Diablo 1.0

Ok so I posted a thread about my unfortune find of a crack in my 2001 Foes DHS tube. Its on the headtube. I basicly have 2 options right now

1. NEW Front triangle from Brent @ Foes for $400

or

2. NEW 2007 Jamis Diablo 1.0 Frame w/manitu shock for $549 @ jensonusa

Please Help me decide. I Love the Foes but I am thinking the rear triangle is still 8 years old.

My stats:

Weight:130 lbs
5'10

I do freeride

Foes unless you are less than 180 lbs and don't freeride.

I blew up 3 Jamis frames. The ride was great, and I liked the geometry, but the frame has a weak spot by the rear shock pivot that is prone to cracking.

I like my dialbo, but im sure the Foes is better! how much for the front traingle on new Foes DHS? compare it why dont you.. Also you might will have to change whole cables such as brake hose to rear, and shift cable to rear deruailer... maybe im wrong if your foes is longer.. though the Dialbo has three cable housings seperated.

I dont find any cracks yet.. I raced last weekend alot of flat landing, besides at the end of run during races we sure were flying down to flat. I took my bike apart to clean it monday, looked for any cracks, bent parts, etc.. no sign of that yet. and i am 220 lbs rider, well 210 now.

Get the Foes triangle, Jamis bikes are known because their bikes have good components and their cheap, their not known for their frame strength or craftsmanship. Plus Foes is made in California, you will support our local economy.

I am a pretty big Jamis fan, and I abuse my Diablo. I havent broken any Jamis frames(but I did crack a Banshee), and I am a fan of the Diablo, BUT, if you can get your Foes replaced for 400, its a nobrainer. Go with the Foes, bro!
