Lethal when nessesary
|
Shimano Part Recall
while checking out the Shimano site and ran across this. They are recalling Front Quick Releases made after Nov. 1 2005.
Reason: Spontaneous Failure.

I replaced the old one on my road bike and bought a new one a few months back. I can't find any numbers on the thing though. I'll still take it back and if it's not possible to find out, I'll buy something else.
