I was asking myself that same question when I dug a 1-1.5" wide hole in my knee down to the bone while skateboarding on asphalt when I was about 15!!

Nothing like bringing home some serious "dirt burn" after a ride

Kinda embarassing... haha ... so I was going around a corner pretty quick and noticed the front tire felt a little funny but proceeded to the next turn and the tire tore right off the rim and flung the handlebars around and under me and somehow next my chain popped off and all of it sended me OTB. I layed there for a moment after laughing at myself because thats the 4th flat in a month. Im thinking about calling my contact at BFG and telling him to make some bike tires that are thorn proof. I keep finding every damn thorn bush! So, needless to say Jordan might be going tubeless very soon... Oh I have some of the same rr on my right arm and my left knee but didnt post em all up.

so whats the popular vote on trail rash? ive been doing neosporen and saran wrap like when i got a tattoo. leave that on today or let it air out with just some neo on it?

seran wrap and neosporan? Man that would have done wonders the last time I trashed my knee and could barely even bend it without cringing!

I really think neosporen is only good for small cuts and way to expensive for lage areas. And never use it on Tattoos! I recomend something called A+D ointment. its for minor cuts and burns.... and baby rash, and also tattos. And I would leave the saran wrap in the kitchen and get some gauze to wrap around it. you could tell chicks your burned your arms pulling orphand babies out of a car fire!

Kind of like paying some homage to the mtb gods.
