A Turner by any other name is still a Ventana!

i see the pics fine.....that is weird
but if you cant see em for some reason, here they are as well http://blog.iheartbikes.com/?p=171 one day when i grow up, since i am a girl nowadays, i will get a Ventana El Patron. My days of doing anything remotely manly are over....my goal is to get more into racing and the El Patron is the bike to beat. Having said that, I would friggin love a Bruja. Cheers |

Just like that, my X-5 is a collector's item. Sweet! Now I know how Six Pack owners must feel...
Fo, do you know if rocker options are a thing of the past, meaning will travel now be dictated by the frame alone? The new offerings are all, of course, beautiful, but I particularly like the under-the-top-tube cable routing of the Ciclon. If I had a complaint about the X-5 (the Ciclon is the X-5's replacement, right?), it would be the cable routing. Got a couple scars from run-ins w/ the guides. The new design seems to address that nicely. And call me a sucker for the X-brace, but the new Bruja looks fantastic. Welcome back, I say. Think I've found my next frame. Just realized my own hypocrisy, but I'll gladly risk further cable guide wounds for the sweet, sweet buttery goodness I'm confident only a spin on the new Bruja can provide. ha ha...yeah, i sold my blinged out X5 this year and it was way painful....i LOVED that bike, but needed the coin. in terms of cable routing, while the X5 routing i agree was not optimal, you can ALWAYS spec things as you know when you buy Ventanas...I know people who asked Sherwood to do different routing for their X5s but at least now, the stock config comes this way. yes, it does replace the X5 but people can always ask Sherwood for a Ciclon with an x-brace, or any other config if they so choose. you could also ask for straight gauge like on the X5, whereas the Ciclon looks to come stock with butted tubes like the El Saltamontes, which makes sense to me. i am gonna ask Sherwood for a demo bike and see if i can get one....crossing fingers.
