They say there is a lifetime warranty on the frame but on the crash replacement, I think its based on their decision. I havent put all the reciepts together but for an estimate, I think I spent right about 6000.00. If I were to waited for some stuff on ebay, it coulda been a little cheaper, but then I wouldnt have gotten the bike together. I could have gotten the complete bike for 5400.00, but I wanted to build a lighter bike so I went parts by parts. The SpeedPlay drillium pedals are something I had lying around in the garage. It was a B-Day gift so I was like, what the hell, Ill use them for now until I get more info on what pedals to get. The pedals (540 grams/pair) felt heavier than my crank set w/BB.

Where did you get that figure?? 30% seems pretty high to me. Not trying to start anything here, just wondering.

I totally made it up! After all, 68% of all statistics are made up on the spot.

Anyway, it seemed like a good number. I'm an English teacher, though, you can't trust me with numbers. Grammar and spelling, yes. Vocabulary, totally. Statistics, no way.

You are about 90% right.

Depends on what English teachers are talking about. Actually (to completely hijack this thread), I regularly tell my students that if I'm talking about English or literature, and that sort of thing, then I'm an expert and they should believe me. But, if I'm talking about nearly anything else then it's just my opinion and they should probably seek a second opinion. Especially if it's politics or math then I'm likely as not just full of sh*t. Just trying to keep it real.
