trail bells
anyone read the september issue of decline magazine
it has an article about how the santa barbara trails are now giving out bells for riders so that hikers and horses dont get scared on the trails by us it think thats a pretty good idea now less ppl hate us blazing by them on the trails wut u guys think

Im going to install one of those car horn automation machines where you can program in any tune you want. Then I can make it bark like a dog, meow like a cat or sing the Ice Cream Man tune as I am bombing down the trail.

This has been going on over 3 years and the bells were always available until recently. I was talking to a friend of mine that lives up there and some people are trying to make the bell system not work by stealing the bells almost as soon as they put them back, some person or people come along and take them.

I got a bell for El Moro since ppl are everywhere. I just don't like using it unless I need to. It's just a little dweeby feeling.
