Default Cactus

I was feeling a bit lonely on the trail, slower than the guys I was riding with, so I hugged a cactus. But, not one of the big prickly cacti, one of the explosive cacti with little tiny quill thingies (I missed the BIG cactus by a few inches).

Anyone know how to get that crap out of your clothes? I have little needles in my jersey, shorts, and gloves.

This sounds like a job for captain cactus. Dell, please share your wisdom with us?

Maybe very sticky tape.

Give duct tape a try. I usually keep some rolled up around my pump for times when I decide to get intimate with cactus.

Tape works about the best, but if you're talking about the one with the fuzzy whiteish yellow things, well I suggest you throw out what you were wearing. I had a motorcycle crash once and rolled over one of those. I washed and tried about everything trying to get rid of those little thorns and everytime I put those pants or that shirt on again I'd have a dozen more stickers stuck in my skin. Good luck, I hope you have better success then I did with that devil plant.

i used tweezers for all the visible ones that i had in my shorts, jersey, gloves and skin.. tape works pretty good but isn't the best. someone told me to use glue on your skin and peel it off your skin when it dries

Simple. Just keep an LBmtb close at hand. Worked great the last time I kissed the cactus--got every last one of them spines out.

I highly recommend picking one up.
