hey guys i am new to this site. I am from Santa Clarita ,CA and i wanted to know if anyone knows of any good dh/freeride trails around here or anywhere pretty close. PM if you know of any please . and if possible post some pics of the area too.

When I look out my window, I can still see Mt. Baldy, so I think it is a reality...........didn't you miss me?

I heard from someone on MTBR, that is close to the project, that it was supposed to be ready this fall, but the red tape is taking longer than expected, so they're looking at next year now. I know someone was offering a free saeason pass if you help out with trail-building duties.

Baldy just seems to be the proverbial carrot in front of me, just outta my reach everytime I try to grab it. It sounds so nice to have lift access DH/FR in So Cal again. Just seems like it will never happen. I've seen all the posts on MTBR and it just seems as though I just have a lot of smoke blown up my rear end.

This comes from a friend who was up there 2 weeks ago.....So far Baldy has 5 steep & loose ST trails and fireroad. Not worth paying $25 for an all day lift pass.
