Looks like Otero?

I rode Otero and Tunnel Canyons last winter. It was so cold out there that the water in the tube of my camelback froze. Well ya, it was lightly snowing by the end of the ride.

I noticed that they finialy open back up the forests after being closed since mid-May due to fire danger.

Have you been riding in the bike park up on Sandia Peak yet?

I should be out there again this fall/winter, I stay out in Paradise Hills. Maybe we can hookup for a ride.

I've never rode a mountain bike in NM, but I've rode motorcycles many years ago out there. From memory I couldn't help but think back about what a great mountain bike ride it would have been out there. I do remember some sandy places, but the overall trails were fantastic. I'd love to go back out there and try it.

Perfect, I am looking for a Sandia guide next time I come out....get out there and find the good stuff. It most likely will be cold again when I get out there.
