[SIZE=+0]The UCI World Cup season is nearing the end and Santa Cruz Syndicate rider Steve Peat is sitting on the hot seat. Peaty leads the DH series by 178 points, with Syndicate teammate Nathan Rennie in 6th overall, and good friend and MBUK/Santa Cruz rider Marc Beaumont in 8th overall. That places 3 of the top 8 current DH riders in the world on Santa Cruz. Not bad…Now the guys will keep busy with charity benefits, filming and other events until the World Championships in New Zealand and then the UCI DH finally in Schladming, Austria. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=+0]Jamie Goldman took a 1st (Indoor comp) and 3rd (Outdoor) at the Braun26Trix event in Leogang, Austria. Jamie had a bit of a smash-up at his next European stop so he had to cancel his trip to the District Ride in Italy, but his hand is coming along and Jamie should be back in action for the Slopestyle event at Crankworx. [SIZE=+0]On the Syndicate Endurance front, Mark Hendershot is recovering nicely from a broken scapula, and John Waddell is preparing for the solo event at the 24hour Nationals in Australia.[/SIZE]
