Check out the Singlespeed photo section - figured I'd post of pics of my newest toy, made from my oldest bike. Dug up every piece of anodized metal I could find to put on it, and eBay'd the stuff I didn't have. Thing climbs like a freakin' rocket but doesn't stop worth a sh*t (canti's, go figure). Sure makes me appreciate disc brakes on my other rides.

Thanks Fo! The wheelset came out lookin' pretty fly....blue/purple nips on those electric blue rims - I can't look away!!

i went on about a 12 person single speed ride yesterday in teh santa monicas....it was awesome. even had riders who brough new bikes hitting dirt for the first time which is always fun. problem is they always make me want to buy another one

I'm down in Lake Forest (Whiting Ranch). I've ridden the Santa Monicas once but would like to check out more trails up there - quite the drive though. Still want to do it but out of town for three weeks. I'll PM you when I'm back.
