what is the new job?

Big deal! I can take pictures!
Like I said, we should know more in a few days...
I just remembered what Fred posted about the 20 person limit and that could fill in a blink of an eye with the Regulars and a few extras. I agree maybe the regulars should back off to allow those who don't ride regularly if things get to crowded.

I will watch and take pics if it will allow others ( kids for sure) to ride.

I wouldn't even worry about it.

We're not all going to crowd the gate at once, and all they are saying is that if it's open track (no gate) they don't want total mayhem.

"We" know not to stop on the track, or turn around and ride backwards, etc.

As a person who used to be responsible for interpreting a competition rule book, I'd interpret this to mean that no more than 20 riders are allowed on the track at one time. Key words here are on the track. The staging area and the starting gate are not areas on the track.

Even during normal track practice or racing, when there can be the equivalent of two gate's worth of riders on the track at one time, there are only 16 riders, plus maybe a few stragglers from yet another gate before.

I wouldn't worry about this.

I mentioned this to my kid today and he was actually excited about it.

Hopefully he still fits on his old bike.

i disagree...my interpretation is that there must be less than 21 riders on the track at any given time

I wouldn't mind going to something like this and possibly trying to get my little brother out. I have an old BMX bike that he/I could use.

Ok who is in? I will get the ball rolling. Im thinking 20$ per person should be enough. I will go to Bike Alley tomorrow and talk to Ruben. What is a good day for everyone. Im thinking a Saturday Afternoon. How is Saturday the 25th?
