Default Help Dirt on my Mountian bike

I just built up my morewood shova st, i took it to work and rode it around after and now theres dirt on it. Some of the dirt wont come out of the spoke holes and it looks ugly?? Plus I think the dirt may have caused a scratch
Is this kind of thing covered under warranty ?? What should I do?

Most bikes are not waranteed against dirt. Outrageous as this sounds, it's true! I suggest you start a class action lawsuit to remedy this. Short of that, you'd better just buy a new bike. I'll take your dirty bike off your hands to save you the hazardous waste disposal fee. PM me.

Dirt on your new frame? When I've noticed dirt on my frame, I've taken pictures of it, then gone back to my local shop and had them send it back to the manufacturer for replacement.

I refuse to ride a bike with dirt problems!

You've had it for over a week now Rick, I think it's time to sell the Morewood. You've got a rep to maintain.

I have done some research on this and found a deep cleaning method to remove the dirt. I was sworn to secrecy but will clean it for you. It is a long drawn out process so I will need the bike for about three weeks.

Your post got me worried, so I went to the garage to check my bike and 'voila', it has this same defect (maybe worse ), but it's a Giant so I have come to accept/expect such shortcomings...

Anyone with a shock named "Swinger" has to go both ways. Ghey! I see your bike gives you dirty love, with apologies to Frank Zappa.

I think Rockin is gonna be up for an Emmy as the newest post ho, given FoShizz a run for his money.

Take it in to the recycling place to get your CRV back.

Buy the TAG wheels, it has no spokes holes.

Jeff, after carefull examination of the "dirt" on your bike I can conclusively say you have nothing to worry about. It has been determined to be "Tapia Topsoil" and not generic dirt. Tapia topsoil has been proven to actually be beneficial to mountain bikes and contain no abrasive material. In some cases it has been found to have healing properties, just ask Colonel Corndog

well, just don't let dirt AND dust gather on your bike from lack of riding. it doesnt come off with ease and you might have bigger issues like a lack of air in the tires. that and your bike will be pi$$ed at you.

Just leave the dirt, don't wash it off, if you do you might wash something good off on accident
