I've been planning this for a while, compiling my components for the last month. Finally finished it Saturday night. Should give me just enough time to get used to it before the big race next weekend.

SICK rig!!!
Problem Solvers makes stick on cable guides you can use to "batten down the hatches" on that Gravity Dropper cable. ![]() At any rate, nice bike and good luck in the race!!

Earning the downhill

I zip tied the gravity dropper cable to my rear brake cable right after I took the pictures, which worked alright. I'll have to check those Problem Solvers out. I don't want anything permanent since I trade the gd between my 6pack and the Niner. I can't drop $300 for a second one.
I need to cut and bleed my brake cables too. |

lol about the brake cable, good eye. It was actually masking tape which I put on the night before so I could test ride the bike after I finished putting it together. It now has a nice black ziptie. On the bathroom scale it was 25lbs. That seems heavy because without the pedals, gravity dropper and seat it was under 20lbs. With a Thompson post and new seat I think I can drop a pound. |
