Stop stealing my thunder!
|
I just wanted to give mad props to RacinJason and 1x1clyde for stepping up and helping me out with the issues I had with my frame.
Long story short, I had mentioned in another thread that I wasn't that impressed with the build quality of their frames due to some very minor issues I had with my new frame. These were merely minor inconveniences (rattling noises from wrong bolt length and metal shavings in the frame) that I had resolved on my own at no cost to me, but they felt that it still needed to be addressed. They took the initiative and contacted me so that they can make sure nothing else was wrong with it. Even 1x1clyde's wife, Surlygal, got involved and contacted me to make sure I that I was taken care of. ![]() RacinJason took time after work to meet up with me to inspect the frame for any other flaws and to help me setup the bike. Needless to say we ended up talking shop until the wee hours of the night. Well, wee hours for me at least. Thanks again to all who stepped up to the plate even though they weren't required, or even asked to. Now before any of you start thinking, of course they'd step up to help out a friend, let me inform you that I've only been on two rides with RacinJason, one with 1x1clyde and met surlygal twice, but never rode or conversed with her. Those of you who know me know that I only chat with people in the back of the group because that's where I usually end up. So not much getting to know either of those two guys for me. They offered to help out of pride in their company and it's products. ![]()

As an Intense owner, it's reassuring to know that Jason and Neil are available to address any issues that may arise. The great customer support will definitely influence any future purpose......like I need any more influences
![]() Duc, did you get the SoCom or the M6? You'll have to join us on one of our rides! |

Between Jason & Neal, Intense now has the the customer service/quality assurance dream team. There both a little competitive too, so Neal will be looking to brag that nothing made it out the door unless it was perfect, and Jason will be looking to fix anything that might have....
Bottom line is it is a good season to look at a new Intense. |

There is NO substitute for good customer service!
Now, the real question here is: how do I get my Intense to go faster? ![]()

I put an email in not too long ago inquiring about a few things and another asking about bolt torque specs and sag settings when I was building up my Socom.
The first email I sent got replied to in about 2 minutes (like friggin' instant messaging!) and the email I sent later actually got a phone call! I could not believe it! I mean seriously, in a day of shit customer service everywhere I was totally impressed. It was reassuring after I spent all the money on a frame and build to know I have a factory behind me. yay. |

Jason, the swingarm on my 5.5 will be in Joe's hands (bike co.) this weekend at the 24hrs of Hurkey. With interbike looming, how long do you think it'll be before I see a new swingarm?
No hurries, just curious. I'm more than familiar with the interbike time-lag. Thanks again and mucho props to the Intense service dept. ![]() Ben

Makes me regret dumping that Tracer so quickly, Could have just broken it and been upgraded to the new Tracer VP
.Still as long as I have known both of them they have always been pleasant company to ride with and be around. Not to mention immensely knowledgeable and and unflinchingly quick to lend a hand, props out to Intense on recruiting on hell of a crew. ![]() |
