We just rode there yesterday. City of Rancho Palos Verdes go to the end of Crenshaw and through the gates puts you on the Burma Rd. fireroad that leads to all the trails..

watch out for hikers and hikers with unleashed dogs and specially old people!

Take Crenshaw all the way south until it ends. ride past the gate and thats your start... I would just usually ride there and stay on the fireroad to workout a sweat, I try to stay away from singletracks as to avoid any confrontation with local hikers. That climb is a B*tch but its a good workout.

Not anymore! the freeride playground was totally shutdown.. I think even that small tabletop at the bottom.. the ski jump where I flew 8-10' up in the air and landed on my left shoulder first is off limits too I believe badlands is off limits also... upper slalom may be open for riders but you're not allowed to ride fast due to hikers going up/down

del cerro is not what it was like before they closed it down november of last year

There has been a lot of controversy between equestrian, hikers, and bikers there for a long time. I have been yelled at by hikers on the fire road when I said hello. They were mad that I had my Ipod/headphones on while I was riding back up the fire road from the bottom I laughed and said have a nice day. Just make sure you only go on the trails that bikes are allowed on as people are trying to get us banned up there from all trails. If we ride on trails that are for hiking/equestrian only it just gives them more ammo against us as well as the rangers up there can/will write you a ticket if they see you as well. Have fun.
