Default Searching for female downhillers
I am a 22 y.o. female searching for other female downhillers to ride with. Nothing against you guys, but I have plenty dudes to ride with and want a little less testosterone. Let me know if you are a female downhiller or know of any. I'm in the San Bernardino Mountains. Will be racing Fontana in Nov.

Maybe you should host a girl's downhill ride on the STR girls only site? You could also think about riding with guys that are a little more mellow?

Send a PM to LBmtb (George). He can give you access to the girl's forum.

I may be racing the November race at Fontana. I'm in San Diego. Host a girls ride up in the San Berns...I'm sure we can get a girls DH posse to show up (sans trail males)

That is a fantastic idea, except one thing that sucks is the lift is only open on weekends now. I'm one of those poor saps who work weekends. Doesn't we can't ride up fire road though. I need to. My b/f, brother, and dad get on my ass to do more UP hills.

B/F = Ian Odom "AKA the Odomator"
Dad = Bobby Bondurant "AKA Sponge Bobby"

Both are Fontana regulars and you may have ridden with them on many of our SSDHC adventures!!!!!!

I think Willie would like to start trying some DH stuff.
She is fast and strong. I will be doing some stealth practices with her and maybe a couple of other people probably girls.
I would like to do maybe a all girls DH training ride.
I think it can be intimidating to learn DH for some when you have somone jumping over your head while you are still just looking at the trail.

It might be a while before we can do it. But its on my list of things I need to do.
I want to go to whistler next year and I want to get Willie ready for some action. Maybe hit Mamoth soon if we get the time.
