Man, no salary, no bouns. Just doing it cuz he can. I'd love to in a position like that.

that's nice and all, however if he doesnt need a salary, why not take it and donate it a cause or organization that needs the funding...umm like say the Live Strong foundation? or American Cancer Society? just a thought.

Lance Armstrong has done more in the hopes to wipe out cancer than any of us will ever do! He's raised more money and put his face in the face of presidents trying to get money for cancer research!
That being said, I think it's incredible that he would attempt a come back. I wonder if it will be as a super domestique or if he'll do it to win!!
Either way, he's always been one of my favorite racers and I look forward to his return regardless of what he does!

While shooting pics of the racers along Ballard Canyon in Solvang for the past couple of TTs of the Tour of California, I saw Lance both times, sitting behind the wheel of a big black Escalade, driving the course before the race and just LOOKING PISSED OFF!

Doesn't surprise me at all that he wants to do the race.

when your the best sometimes you have to keep coming back and proving it. besides im sure this man has a crowd riding around him any where he goes, so maybe racing is a chance to get away from the crowds. And whos forgotten retirements for when your dead! as for the french Viva la lance.

......he always got flak for not racing the "other" tours........maybe he should go ride the Giro de Italia, Vuelta de Espana, Deutschland Tour, and race them to WIN......

As far as his legacy goes, I think it would be sweeter if he got a win in each of these.........not sure what else he needs to prove in France.......just my opinion.....
