Question Renting a van for roadtripping

Quick question, has anyone had luck renting a large vehicle for roadtrips? I'm thinking something along the lines of a 6-12 person van with capacity for lots of bikes. I've done a few searches for info but haven't found anything concrete.

4-5 day rental for roadtrip from SoCal to UT.

Any info appreciated

Most rental Companies rent full size vans but they can be expensive more then luxury SUVs a lot of the time. Also you can get something that can fit the people and maybe a small trailer

Here's a few for ya. Seems $400-$500 a week is the going rate. But between 8 or more people that may be reasonable. Check out the bandago.com they have the Dodge Sprinter for the ultimate luxury cruise. Although that one may be pricey.

Epic - I contacted bandango and priced out the 15 person van for the a group of 8. My calcs said the cost is very compatible with two cars with 4persons each. I think my group is going to be able to work it out w/o renting though. thanks for the input
