Default Orange Y BMX Track rebuild notice
Hello STR BMXrz. Orange Y needs your help. We are getting the track cleaned up on September 1, 2008, Monday, 6:00pm. There will be a few surprise changes and a new surface. This will be dirty work for all of you BMX buddies over the age of 12. The age restriction has to do with safety. You can't see little guys from a tractor seat! We need to be ready for the state finals on September 13, 2008 so your help is really needed to spruce up USA's number 1 track!

There will be no riding at this event so bikes may be left at home.

Drinks and grub will be provided by Team Deke.

so, does this mean they level everything and make new obstacles? or do they just refurbish the current stuff?

I think some new obstacles could be a nice change for those of us who don't usually venture out from the Y.

As for working, I'll see what's going on. I think I'm doing family stuff though

I believe this is not a complete tear down. There will be some changes + top soil added to smooth over the current cobble stone situation we have got going on at present.

haha it's rough right now? just a few breaking bumps coming out of the turns (how's that work?)

I think I do quite fine by myself with a 2.5 blue groove. gotta love the death howl of all things kenda on the track (save k-rads)
