We have used this before: MTB Strength Training Systems. I also know that Denmother uses it. You get the workouts and the plan, but you do have to be focused and execute the system on your own. The non-discounted version is about $95. Denmo, I think, is sponsored by them, so she probably got a good discount.
Right now, I am using Turbulence Training. It's not mtb-specific but I love it. It is 3 workouts of 45 min each per week and the program changes every 4 weeks. The basic plan cost me $39. If you want personal training (like someone standing over you, yelling at you to finish your pushups ), maybe 24 Hr Fitness would be a good fit. They have personal trainers but it's not cheap (it won't be anywhere else, either, unless you know someone who's willing to give you a discount). |

I would avoid personal trainers at the local gyms. Most will make you good at using the machines in the gym, not the bike. I have a program designed specifically for me by a cycling coach and when I showed it to a couple of the trainers at L.A. Fitness they'd never heard or seen anything like it. Kinda surprising. Have a read through this: https://www.usacycling.org/membershi...tingacoach.pdf
Depending on where you live, here's a list of coaches (all levels) in California: http://www.usacycling.org/coaches/se...e=CA&lastname=
