Oakleys for me too! RADARS are very comfortable for me.. I also have the FLAK jackets but still prefer riding with RADAR with PATH lenses

-Halo Head Band
-Anti-fog sunglasses cleaner. $2 Get it in the swimming section of your sports store.

The anti fog cleaner took my glasses from being unwearable on climbs to being wearable for the entire ride. Halo headband has been mentioned by others, but it does a great job of keeping the sweat from dripping.

**Keep the halo receipt. The plastic strip tends to crack after about 8 months and they have a 1 year warranty & will replace it. **

One more vote for Rudy Project. I have the Ekynox SX and the lenses that have cut-outs on the side to prevent fogging.

Sweat drippage seems unavoidable no matter what glasses you wear.

Rudy's are also available with prescription lenses, polarized lenses and photochromatic ones(color changing) as well.

Check out their website for stuff on sale.

I probably perspire more than any other human on the planet so I have lots of experience with "sweat dripped" glasses. I use a Halo Headband. It helps some but doesn't totally alleviate the problem. If I have a long sustained climb, I usually take off my glasses and put them in my jersey pocket. Once at the top, I squeeze my helmet against my head to drain out the sweat (kinda gross) and then put my glasses back on for the descent.
Sadly, I'm in the catagory of Halo Headbands work for me "sometimes"

+1 for the flak jackets....i have put these things through the wringer over the last year and they still perform.

a little story...when i first bought them i was riding down stairsteps. i hadn't switched out the stock lenses yet (get the VR28's) so i put them in the camel back pocket. on one of the tricky sections i saw the shades make a run for it down the trail on my right side. i was already in pucker mode when the glasses landed squarely in my line and over them i went...nooooo!!!

i immediately jumped off down the trail in a panic. when i found them they were in pieces....they had popped apart at all of the locations....even the lenses came out. after a quick wipe down and reassembly they were back in action...not even a scratch. loyal customer and made in the USA.

anyone have a good recommendation for decent glasses that won't cost me an arm and a leg?

thanks!
Hi-- just want to echo that IMHO, Oakleys rule. Recently switched from the excellent M Frames to the even better Radars. I keep a pair of persimmon tints for low-light conditions (I've even used them on night rides) and rose-colored iridiums for all-conditions (they work well in varied light conditions like going into and out of tree shaded areas) They're not cheap, but when it comes to eye protection I won't skimp.

i think I give up
I bought a halo headband, new ryders glasses and applied cat crap to em. I thought it was a sure thing for my next ride. I started my climb, I stopped halfway up to hike a bike a part of it and they instantly fogged up completely. It's just not meant to be I think.
