Default Turning into an expensive week !!! ss 29er frame suggestions.

Man... So I was climbing a hill in Powder Canyon earlier this week and blew out my rear Hope pro II hub. Picked up a cheap wheel set to keep rolling while repairs are being done on wheel. Tonight, right at the beginning of a chill Taco Tuesday ride through Peters Canyon I noticed my rear Juicy seven feeling kinda weak. No biggie... Got to the first hill and started cranking up it. My chain ring collapsed inward and took out the small ring with it. To makes things worse, the teeth on the ring took huge bite out of my frame on the side just in front of the Bottom bracket..... Looks like I may need a new frame since I don't need that failing me on a descent. By time I walked back to my car I had no rear brake at all. I just got the brake back from a six week vacation at Avid where it was rebuilt do to a bad rear caliper... What next !!!
To sum up. In half a weeks time... Busted Hope hub, busted crank, no brake in the rear and a compromised frame.... Bike is only a few months old and it's a Sok 29er with a higher end build....
Now I need to find a good xlarge 29er frame to build up as a single speed with my extra parts so I have a backup bike as well as fix all the other crap. Any thoughts on a frame?

I would like to see some pics of the chainring failure and damage to the frame.

We were wondering what happened. I heard one of the riders saying that they saw you turning around and riding back to the cars. Sorry to hear about the damage. Bike problems always sucks. Good luck on the new frame search. Go TI!

here is the crank removed from the frame... The Frame itself is currently at the shop getting the brake looked at and I'm having them "asses" the frame.

Currently taking suggestions on cranks/ rings also. These are stylo 3.3s, I hear deore xts are more sturdy. Looking for strong and quality. Not worried too much about weight....

I don't see any definitive reason to blame the cranks. The chainring gave up. A loose chainring bolt could have let the ring start to lean out then get pulled over. Any other flex could have come from the crank or the frame.

It's important to have a straight chainline. Maybe the cog was closer to center than the chainring (on your cheap replacement wheel ).

Any tougher rings that fit the Stylo??? The bolts were for sure tight as I had just checked them a day prior. the cheap wheels weren't "super cheap" Shimano hub, dt swiss hoops, sram cassette.

Ditto on Boone. There's a rumor that they're back in production.

The point of the cheap wheel was that if you were in a hurry to get back on the trail you might have thought alignment is "close enough".

You can bend a chainring if the chain derails from the chainring and then pulls it over. In that case the issue is alignment and slack. That could happen as you're freewheeling into the hill, spin up to speed, derail, and crunch!
