I'm going to start off with saying I have never changed out fork seals on a MTB, Ive done it on my dirt bike numerous times but never a MTB. That being said, I read the Boxxer dust & oil seal service guide and it seem pretty easy. But my one question is what are these bushing they are talking about after the dust & oil seal? Do I need to change them out if I just have a blown seal? Whats the purpose of them? When should I change them out? Ect...
The tools to change them out are damn expensive and would like avoid not spending an extra 150 bucks to change my seals...Thanks guys

I believe the bushing is the part the fork slides in, you may be able to get away without replacing it, but if your seals are gone you will be better off replacing it all
