i stayed at the village and that was cool but there were a few people crashing in there cars at the bottom parking lot and that was cooooooler. no shower but c'mon, do you reaaaaly need it? have fun there the place is sick.

Were heading up too 1st through the 4th, hopefully we'll get to ride with you again.

I'll be up there (staying at a friends grand little cabin). I'll be there from August 1st-5th. Not riding North* though. We're doing The Rim Trail to Tunnel Creek, The Flume Trail in reverse (up Tunnel Creek) and Mr. Toades Wild Ride.
His place is a rental. Not the cheapest but the place is very cool, not to mention it's the original filming location and main house for the old Ponderosa Ranch of Bonanza. http://rentals.getyourview.com/?subj...&display=owner

You can say it's been a little upgraded to accomodate the kind of people who'd pay $1800 a night. That excludes you and I and probably most here.

The closest campground to N* I believe is Donner State park. There are also a few campgrounds around North Tahoe.
