Trail PIMP.....

Ive had reaaaally good luck with EBB frames.
I have used a zion pinch bolt and have an 08 gary fisher rig with wedge EBB (for sale). Loved em both. Very easy to set chain tension

I'm pretty much digging the Soma Juice - horizontal dropouts, but can be run geared too. And low standover height, which is good for my short legs. Steel too...

Another vote for the Juice, I run it geared & as a single. I just dig it man. Really versatile frame, has enough braze on's to do what ever you want. i picked mine up for $200 on ebay (I had to wait a while)
I think you may have to run a spacer above the crown with some forks as it looks like my frames has some crown marks on the paint. I run a zoke marathon which doesn't touch the frame. Unfortunatly thats about the only good thing I can say about that fork!!!

Thanks - have a gt ss with the ebb..easy to adjust with the tunning fork tool ...was thinking more about the sliding drop outs .
Yeah vasaggo has come up a couple of times from folks I talked with ,,,,optimus ti vassago in 29r looks great but $$'s ...understand built by litespeed ?? anyway thanks for the info . |
