Tallest rider ever?

Default First upgrades for GF HiFi pro 29er

So I'll be picking up my 21" HiFi pro 29er on Monday, and was wondering about the stem and handlebar. On my 21" trek, I run a 110mm stem, and high rise handlebar and like the extra room that it affords me.

I'm thinking about upgrading to a Titec Carbon Pluto 110mm stem, and an Easton Carbon Monkeylite high rise bar.

Opinions? I'm carbon fiber whore btw.

Default Don't touch that thing!!!!

The Bontrager Big Sweep handlebar is one of the best bars I have owned. I have it on two bikes, and I previouslly HATED Flat handlebars. It has 12 degrees of upsweep, and is really designed to work incrediblly well with this bike. The Race Lite stem is as light, if not lighter than most carbon stems, and will not give you any guff. It also has a really cool finish that resists fading, and corrosion from sweat. At least run them for several rides. I think you will like them.

Or at the very least let my Trek Y-33 inherit them if I do invest in the carbon goodies.

I'm definitely getting one of these. Does it have the carbon weave finish like the older Easton bars?
