Default Good trails outside of Orange?

Kinda getting tired of the same ole' rides here and want to hit something different that is not like 5 hours away. I've been doing Blackstar, Aliso, Peters, Chino hills, Whiting, Laguna, El Morro, O' neil, Holy Jim, Trabuco, Irvine park, Fullerton Loop. I have done the San Gabriels and San Juan as well but not that much. If anyone knows of some other great rides I'd love some feedback. I want to try something new this weekend and would like to post a ride asap. Thanks in advance everyone !!!

I'm a big fan of Chesebro Canyon in Agoura Hills, but it can get hot as hell out there during the summer. It's also a bitch of a drive getting back to O.C. on a weekend afternoon. Sulphur Springs, Gas Pipe, Poachers, Dead Cow and Suicide are the trails to hit there.

Turnbull?
San Clemente Singletracks?
Daley Ranch or other stuff in SD?

Or how about Sycamore & Box Springs in Riverside?

Otherwise, it sounds like you need a road trip to one of the many great riding destinations within 8 hours of here. Good luck.

I second Turnbull in Whittier and add Portuguese Bend in Rancho Palos Verdes (just stay on the legit trails)
Also Weir Canyon Loop and Santiago Oaks in the Anaheim Hills/Orange Hills area.

Have chosen to vaporize all those rides out of your memory or maybe you thought they were just bad nightmares.. ..but don't you remember the P.O. at Chantry, the Quakin Aspin trip and the many, many other adventures you've wrote about out of the O.C.

BTW: I'm looking forward to many more to come.

What about all of the trails up in Idyllwild? There's plenty of good stuff up there. Under 2 hours drive from OC.

Default Brown Mtn/El Prieto

I used to live in Pasadena right near the Brown Mtn/El Prieto trail. It's a great place to ride and it's not that far if you go on the weekend and before there is traffic.
