Where's the singletrack?

I've been in orange county for about 2 years now riding quite a bit of trails around the area. I am wondering why there is an extremely limited amount of singletrack in the northern santa ana mountains. All those fire roads you would think there could be an epic singletrack ride through the mountains. Chino is sort of similar.

there is some singletrack down sklyline (aka troy lee trail). It has some exposure and gnar factor. Riding mtn spines, loose descents, fun on a big bike, doable on an xc bike.

Also, eagle road is turning into a singletrack from zero vehicle traffic.

For a nice ST experience, SART is a must. Schedule and I will not resist.

Yea there is a little here and there. Ride 10 miles of fire road for 1 mile of singletrack. There should be miles and miles upon miles of singletrack heaven.

Chino Hills has plenty of ST, you just have to know where to find it.

not my choice...but Bane Ridge is fun.

plenty of single track to ride a little south, the closest on the northern end is S Oaks
