LOL. This one's just nicer than my last one. I had a Zion 29er and wanted to drop some frame weight. I went from 5 lbs to 3.4 there. I know steel soaks up the chatter better than aluminum, but a 30 pound HT 29er was a bit much IMO. I bought the Zion frame last year because it was one of the more inexpensive options and I didn't know if I'd like 29'ing or not.

I also had WTB Dual Duty's on Deore hubs--another cheap purchase to see if I liked 29'ing. This new frame has ZTR Flows on King hubs.

I dropped 1.6 lbs with the frame and I'm guessing close to a pound on the hoops. I haven't weighed it yet but I'm guessing it's around 27 lbs.

I'll leave it to you in my will. On the condition that I don't die under suspicious or mysterious circumstances--so don't get any ideas!

How do you like that Niner Flat top bar? Thought about getting one for my Air9 but decided on something I was more familiar with. I guess any flat bar would do but then again it wouldn't match the bike.

Really like that licorice black color!

I like it a lot. I have pretty wide shoulders anyway, so the 28" width is still comfortable and feels like it helps the steering.
