Old man goin' downhill
|
Well, Hel (aka The Mrs) has been asking for new brakes as her 8yr old Hopes are starting to whine just a bit (think Santa Fe locomotive
). Now I could just adjust them, change the pads and get some new rotors but hey, why stop there.Well, yesterday was her birth day and over the last couple of weeks we have been getting her new cycling gear, a CamelBak, Helmet, socks, etc etc etc ... So today the little monsters and I went out to get her some new brakes and thanks to the good folks at Simi Cycling Center we brought her home a new set of Hayes Strokers. She has no idea that we were even getting her anything else and tomorrow she will get to test 'em out. Here, have a look-see ... Yes, the BIKE is brand spakin' new

Wow, what a husband. Keep it quiet though you could create some problems for the rest of us.
