Default Awesome helmet cam footage
I'm basically plagiarizing this thread from MTBR because it's so F-ing cool. Some of you have probably already seen this.

Ok, I knew the world cup level DH riders were good but this is nuts. This is helmet cam footage from Gregg Minnaar at Fort William Scotland.
It blows my mind how he can have the concentration to provide detailed commentary on the course as he is bombing down it at break-neck speed. The speed and flow at which he rides the course is pretty amazing. Notice how calm and cool his voice is, as if he's taking some easy cruiser ride.

Nice vid but it doesn't look like he was going super fast. More like a moderate pace. I'm sure he goes waaay faster on a race run.

isnt this sam hill's practice run? looks like the same course where they have a camera pointed up looking at him while he bombs down that course

I think it's the same UCI world cup course from....2007?

And Sam Hill doesn't ride a Santa Cruz.

I know that this is something that will never do .. I just don't have that skill level ... the good thing is that I know this...some don't . Absolutely loved his pass of the other rider on the wall section.

Holy crap does he make it look easy, floating 20fter's no worries and hitting those oh so easy wallrides

WoW! That was great. I'd love to ride that course, or try to, altho it would be a small fraction of the speed! Funny thing is, going slower, the rocks & roots would probably actually be harder.Several times you can hear guys blowing whistles. What's that? Is it course marshals warning people below someone fast is coming down?
