I will try to post an update ASAP and maybe exact GPS if Mike gets lost and maybe some techies could assist with a virtual map with Pain freaks location.

We should've chipped in and gotten him a SPOT device so we could track his progress!

if nothing else, it would've been easier to find him

Our dogs are micro-chipped. Perhaps we should have taken Mike to the vet and gotten him chipped so we could have at least called animal control when he gets lost.

I recommend having him send the raw GPS data file and turning it into a google earth overlay using the GPS babel tool. Then it could be posted on a regular intervals showing where he is and the route he has already completed.

I spoke with Mike last nite... He misses everyone

He made it 50 miles in the rain yesterday, then he had to evacuate the campground due to flood danger.

.He went over to Seaside motel and got the broom closet for the nite

I will get GPS from him soon and hopeful we can pair it with meta data...

Poor guy! With Hwy 1 closed due to fires, he may miss one of the best parts of the ride!
