Has anyone rode there before and if so can you please provide some details about the trails? I decided to enter my first X-C race (Western States Police and Fire Games) and they intend to use that park. Any advice or tips would be appricated.

I've ridden there a couple times. It's not very technical, just a lot of climbing. There is a flat meadow at the top of the ridge, but except for that you are mostly either climbing or descending. The write up on Mt Bike Bill's site on the link above is a good overview.
