I always check out the Outdoors section in the a.m. - Hey I know that guy!

I feel that sometimes my wife thinks I'm riding with make-believe internet people. I showed her the article and told her he's the one who took me to Whiting for the first time.

She's glad to see I ride with people my own age sometimes.........

Way to rep Crash!

Hey,

I saw a report on Daybreak OC, they morning version and how fun that it is you. I have met him at Black Star, he's a good guy and a good reporter...of course he has a sweet job....report on the outdoors in the OC. He did an article on my sister in law about a year ago. He did and awesome job. Congrats

He actually told me about the TV show, but I missed it.

He really did seem like a cool guy. Very genuine.
He made a couple of bobbles in the article. I've only been MTBing for 10 years, but 14 sounds good to me!

Thanks for all your kind words! It means a lot to me.

This morning I was leafing through the Register and saw this article on bike commuting. When I saw the name Darin Maxwell, I wondered whether it was 'Maxwell' from STR. It IS!

Way to go, Darin!

He is a cool guy. We work in the same building (he is in the content center, I'm in IT). Sometimes mistakes happen in the articles. Feel free to post comments in the article on our website!
