Good problem to have - going to Moab but probably only have time/energy after Gooseberry and Thunder Mtn. to do 3 Moab rides...I've tried to rank them based on what I've read/heard. Please help me maximize my Moab experience and let me know your opinions...
Porcupine Slickrock Amasa Back Poison Spider Sovereign ST If I left any out, please feel free to suggest.

I've just been to Moab once and we chose to ride Porcupine, Slickrock and Sovereign ST.
We got a shuttle for Porcupine and to this day that's my favorite ride. Slickrock is a tough 10 miles with great views. Worth doing. Soveriegn ST is a very distant 3rd on my list. It wasn't bad, but I'm sure there's better stuff you can do for ride #3. I'll add that when we did Porcupine we took the shuttle as far up as we could, can't remember what that top part was called. It wasn't just my favorite ride of the trip, it's my favorite ride of all-time.

Here's my opinion:
Porcupine Rim Amasa Back Sovereign Poison Spider Slick Rock I've never ridden Poison Spider, but I know I would like it better than Slick Rock. I hate(d) that trail. FWIW, I really liked Sovereign a lot. Very cool trail!!

-Porcupine Rim (shuttle as high as they will go)
-Sovereign -Poison Spider (I would start at Gemini Bridges and go across the top and down Poison Spider) * I wouldnt waste time on Slickrock, you get your feel of slickrock on the other trails. |

Here is my humble opinion: I would not drive all the way to Moab without at least trying Slick Rock. Yes it’s a difficult trail, so if it’s too hard turn around and go back. Slick rock is like no other trail, people come from around the world to ride it.
![]() Slick Rock Porcupine Rim Poison Spider It’s all good enjoy your rides! ![]()
