Pretty sure pre-production models usually are. They typically try out different frame materials, and since they aren't gonna be in production can get away with lighter stuff and less material in areas.
I haven't seen/read about too many builds, but I don't think 25lbs is out of the question, is it? I know pre-production was around 23.5lbs or so. So, I'd imagine even under 25lbs would be possible if you are trying. |

no the frame weights were supposed to be under 6lb for a medium and they're more like 6.25-6.3lb now.. they were supposed to be race only frames but now its only like 0.5 lb lighter than a rip9. full xtr builds are coming in around 26-26.5 lb

Yup
it looked pretty good when it was cleaning the toughest SS climb on our training loop (one that's hit or miss making due to both steepness and traction). And it also looked pretty fun on the downs too ![]() |

My Canzo weighed 6.2lbs WITH the King Headset installed.
