Question Mountain Bike Frame. What Can I do

Hello agian STR,
I have a old mountain bike, most everything is rusted and the seat is all electric taped up ( I got the bike for free ). I wanted to know if its worth turing into a raod or urban (whatever style its called) to ride on the road for when I don't want to go MTB. I want to turn it into somthing like a Bullvard cursior, or beach cursior.

Recomended? or a crappy Idea, and stick with finding a real road bike.

Get it media blasted back to bare material and build it back up as a SS.

Sorry there were just too many grammatical errors for me to leave it alone. You wouldn't happen to be related to Shinken would you?

I say ditch the bike and get something worthy of riding. If its rusty and its got tape on the seat post it's probably not worthy enough to spend money on.

That would have been my second recommendation.

use the rusted parts, only clean the bearings and cups/races and use it around town.

keep it ugly so no one wants to steal it.

If the rust is not structurally (hurtful ) then I'd say get it sand blasted. What is media blasting?

It's sand blasting with media other than sand (glass beads, walnut shells, plastic beads, aluminum oxide etc).
