The website looks like they added 5 mm of rear wheel travel to 140mm.

and also grease ports to the pivots. I think they slacked out the HA a half degree. Not really sure on that one though.

Slightly different frame, carbon fiber upper swing link and new lower link with zerk grease fittings.I did call Intense on Tuesday. They said the upgrade to the old 5.5's will be out in late July, early Aug.,and will consist of new angular bearings and seals for the lower link along with a new bolt sleeves.A template will show where to drill two holes in the lower link at the frame and swingarm pivot housings to fit new zerk fittings so you will fill the sleeves with grease until it comes out of the seals, ala Turner.-Lloyd

Daily thought: some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything but they bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs!

Default one to ride!

We built up the frame here at Switchback Cyclery this weekend around a X9 AM kit so if you want to play on it in the parking lot come ride it around....

I demo'd a beautiful matte black blur lt yesterday and it was a pretty nice bike. This demo was sooo nice; juicy ultimates, carbon bar, full XO/XT, top of the line. Probably one of the nicest looking bikes I've seen.
