I think the score is not cumulative, it only shows the score for that level.
I got to level 8 and ended up with 55 points
Level 7 is a fast downhill and level 8 is like trials riding.
I go for the time bonus and not risk doing tricks and crashing.
At one level I got 2500 points just because I finished without crashing on the first try.

It looks like a Joker front with a Maverick rear. I only wish it had a DW link rear so it would climb better (or not).

wait, you guys climbed that? i just turned around. there's another level that has a similar shortcut/turnaround

Yeah, in 3 of the levels, there is a drop into a tunnel and you do a 180 maidair and go the other way.
